Rental Unit Tips
We love our rentals, and hope you will too! Here are a few tips to help make the most of your rental stay!
Check in time for the rental units is the same as our check in time for all sites—2 PM. However check out time is 11 A.M.
There are no pets or smoking allowed in our rentals.
You do need to bring your own blankets, sheets, pillows, towels and toiletries, coffee, filters, etc.
Please remember that staying in an RV or cabin is still very much camping. RV appliances are not the same as household appliances, so please review our tips and plan accordingly:
Toilets—RV toilets are connected to a holding tank. If you fill the tank, it will need to be emptied by our staff. This is one of the reasons that no more than 6 people are allowed to stay in the units. You must use RV toilet paper. Please ask the office if you run out. Also, after you flush, hold the lever down 1/2 way and let water collect into bowl for a couple of inches.
A/Cs – the A/C will definitely keep the RV cool but may not keep the unit as cold as you like. Expect the unit to be about 75 degrees, and in extreme heat, it may be a little warmer than that.
Blow dryers— Many full size blow dryers will trip the breaker. Please bring a travel sized dryer if you plan on using one.
Showers— the hot water tank in an RV holds only 6 gallons. Plan on rinsing, turning off the water, soaping and then turning on the water to rinse.
Ovens—Please let the office know if you intend to use the oven so we can en- sure the pilot light is lite.
Cars—you may only park one car by the units
Units must be left clean, swept, fridge empty, garbage bagged outside the unit. $100 cleaning fee will apply if not left in this condition.
Renters are responsible for any and all damage to the unit during their stay.
Rental units can be booked for non-summer weekends a year in advance, June, July and August are reserved for week long stays until we get 60 days in advance of the booking.
